hello, I am Mathijs. Welcome to this website, made with a passion for developing. Often updated with the newest features because I can't just leave this project for finished. This particular page was developed in Grav/PHP but the last one was a learning process with laravel. Some of the other pages with Vue or with NodeJs. Since I not only work with software but also with hardware it is tempting to combine the two. So if you want to hear more about me or my passions be sure to follow me on my blog or trough socialmedia.
More info about me can also be found in my Curriculum vitae
Skills
Photo booth
This portion of the website is dedicated to all the photo's im shooting. It's far from professional but as with every hobby, proud to share some of my accomplishments. For the photography lovers out there, I'm currently mainly shooting with a Lumix DMC-GX7. I also have a Lumix DMC-TZ18 as a backup or if I can't take the big one. The link below will take you to a dedicated page with some of my photos.
Portfolio
Resdac.nl
Wel just for developing purposes, this is actually the first project in the list. this website has had many forms, the first few where entirely html based and had only inline css. nowadays, it's a little more.
Cloud
Well cloud is not really my own programming. Rather it is setting up a networked server and hosting. Both can be a pain when still learning. this environment runs on a Debian machine with Nginx under the hood.
Semester 1
The first semester of My education at the Hanze, We worked on a colloquium site that will be for display below. The site is entirely in laravel, with a mysql backend.
Semester 2
This semester we had the assignment to design a simulation for a parking garage, the simulation runs in a Java environment and has a website accompanying it. this website serves as a reservation page. the application itself has a material design pattern and is multi-threaded. Through some optimisation it can run fast enough to predict the next couple of years of profit within a few minutes.
Semester 3
The third semester was mostly about security and what had to be done about securing a windows box
Semester 5
Semester 5 was mostly about assembly, C# and python. the objective was to create a working environment solar system. Our implementation involved a Python controller module and a atmega328p chip with assembly code that could control the shades based on light and temperature
